List of supporting Proof of Identity for Aadhaar Card
You can furnish any of the following documents as a proof of your identity. But note that all these documents should have your name and photograph on it.
- A PAN card that includes your photo
- Passport
- Ration Card
- Driving license
- Voter ID
- Photo ID cards issued by the government
- Arms license
- Photo identity card issued by any recognized educational institution
- Bank debit/ATM card having a photograph
- Identity certificate issued by a Gazetted Officer or Tehsildar on a letterhead. It should also have your photograph
- Pensioner/Freedom Fighter photo card
- Disability ID card issued by the government of respective State or Union Territory
- Address certificate issued by the Department of Posts that mentions your name and should have a photograph

- Allotment letter of accommodation not more than 3 months old and should be issued by the State/Central Government
- Marriage certificate issued by the Government of India. It should have your current address
- An address certificate issued by Tehsildar or Gazetted Officer or an MLA or MP (for urban areas). The certificate should have your photo

- Pension Payment Order issued by the Central and State Government
- Mark sheet issued by any Government University or Board
- Birth certificate issued by Grade-A Gazetted Officer
- Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme Photo Card

- Documents that authenticate the proof of relationship should mention your relationship with the Head of Family.
