Do you want to update/change your Central Bank of India account registered mobile number? If yes, then you don’t need to visit the bank to update your number. If you are using a net banking service then you can change your mobile number online.
When you open an account in any bank, you need to link your mobile number with your bank account to receive important transaction-related messages and OTPs. If your mobile number is already registered with your bank account but you want to update it then here we will tell you step by step process:
Change Central Bank of India Mobile Number Online
(1) Open the Central Bank of India internet banking login page and login to your account (https://centralbank.net.in)
(2) When you login to your net banking account, you can see the “Profile Setting” option in the menu list, click on this option and then select the “Update Mobile Number” option. (See the below image for more info)
(3) On the next screen, you need to enter your ATM/Debit card details. Type your debit card last 6 digits, expiry month and year, enter your birth date, and click on the submit button. (You can find your debit card’s last 6 digits and expiry month & year on the card front side)
(4) Now you can update your mobile number after verifying your card details. You can submit your new mobile number on the next screen and verify it using OTP.
After submitting your request, your mobile number will be updated within 24 hours or sooner and you will be able to receive transaction alerts and OTPs on your new mobile number.
Currently, Central Bank of India registered mobile number updation facility is available only on the net banking portal. If you don’t have a net banking facility then you can use your debit card to activate the net banking facility online.
