Allahabad Bank customers can now check account balance through missed call by dialing a toll-free number. Yes, the bank has started MISSED CALL ALERT facility for the customers.
Allahabad Bank is public sector bank owned by Government of India. You can open saving account here with just Rs.1000 initial deposit with all banking facility like CHeque Book, passbook, and ATM card.
Normally, you need to visit bank and update passbook to check account balance or need to visit ATM. You can also use mobile banking and net banking facility to view account balance and activity but missed call facility allows you to get account balance instantly on your phone.

To use this facility you have to register your mobile number with your account at your Branch. If your mobile number already registered with your account then you are ready to use this facility free of cost.
To get your account balance on your phone just give a missed call to this number: 9224150150 from your registered mobile number.
The call will get automatically disconnected and an SMS will be received with your account balance and details of last 5 transactions.
Incase you are not getting balance of the desired account, you can use account registration facility by sending sms REG Acc_No to 9223150150. This option can be useful when you have more than one account with the same number registered.
So now whenever want to check your Allahabad account balance urgently, just give a missed call. You don’t need to visit ATM or print passbook. You can use mobile banking and net banking facility to check detailed account activity.
