SBI customers can now send money through UPI on the Mobile Banking application SBI YONO Lite. You can transfer money through UPI using VPA (UPI ID) & bank account number+IFSC code. You don’t need to enter any UPI PIN when you transfer money through UPI on SBI Mobile Banking. You can confirm your transaction through OTP without entering UPI PIN.
When you transfer money on other UPI applications, you need to confirm your transaction by entering the UPI PIN and you need to set UPI PIN using your Debit card. But SBI Mobile Banking enables you to make UPI money transfer without UPI PIN.
Here we will tell you how to transfer money through UPI on SBI YONO Lite:
SBI Mobile Banking UPI Money Transfer Without UPI PIN
If SBI YONO Lite Mobile Banking is active on your phone then you don’t need other UPI applications. You can transfer up to 1 lac every day to any bank account using beneficiary UPI ID and bank account number.
(1) Login to the SBI YONO Lite Mobile Banking application and here you need to click on “UPI Transfer”
(2) Next screen, tap on “Make Payment” option as you can see below screenshot.
(3) You can transfer money using UPI ID & Bank account number+IFSC code. You can see both options
Pay TO VPA (UPI ID)
If you want to transfer money using beneficiary UPI ID (VPA) then select “Pay To VPA” option.
Next screen, select your account number, enter beneficiary (receiver) UPI ID, enter the amount and submit.
Next screen, if the beneficiary’s UPI ID is correct, you can see his/her full name. If beneficiary details are correct then confirm your transaction.
And next screen enter OTP reeved on your registered mobile number and confirm your transfer. The amount will be sent to the beneficiary’s bank account.
Pay To Account No & IFSC
If you don’t know UPI ID and want to transfer money using his/her bank account number then first you need to add his/her bank account number as a beneficiary. After adding a beneficiary, you can transfer money by selecting a beneficiary account.
Choose Pay To Account no. & IFSC option.
Next screen, select your account number and select added beneficiary account number, enter the amount and submit. Confirm your transaction by entering OTP and you are done.
