You can generate SBI green pin by SMS and visit your nearest SBI ATM within 24 hours to change or generate new ATM PIN for your ATM card.
SBI ATM PIN generation facility is available online through Internet banking and you can change or generate new ATM PIN online by login to net banking. But if you don’t have a net banking facility then you can use a green pin facility and generate ATM PIN through SBI ATM machine.
So here is the step by step process, how to generate SBI green PIN and change/create new ATM PIN through ATM machine.
1. Generate SBI Green PIN by SMS
From your SBI registered mobile number, you just need to send an SMS to get your green pin. (SMS charges apply)
Type “PIN<space>last 4-digit Debit card number<space>last 4-digit account number & send to 567676 (e.g: PIN 6763 3010)
After sending this SMS, you will receive your green pin (One time PIN) which is valid only for 24 hours.
2. How to create new SBI ATM PIN using Green PIN
After generating green PIN by SMS, you need to visit the nearest SBI ATM machine to create your new ATM PIN.
- Visit your nearest SBI ATM machine and insert your ATM/Debit card
- Select Banking option
- Now select PIN change option
- Enter the green PIN in current PIN option
- Now set your new ATM PIN
So this way SBI customers can create a new ATM PIN using a green pin by visiting the nearest SBI ATM machine.
