You can now correct or change your Aadhaar Card Date of Birth (DOB) online by visiting the UIDAI website. Yes, Aadhaar card demographics data update facility is now available on UIDAI official website where you can update your name, address, DOB, and gender.
If your Date of Birth is incorrect in your Aadhaar card then you can submit a correction request online and update your Date of Birth. You just need to submit a self-attested scanned copy of your Date of Birth proof document like Pan card, Passport, School leaving certificate, Birth certificate, etc.
So here is step by step process, how to change/correct your Date of Birth in Aadhaar Card online:

(1) Visit UIDAI official website and click on “Update Demographics Data Online”
(2) Next screen click on Proceed to Update Aadhaar
(3) Now you need to login using your Aadhaar card number and OTP. Enter your Aadhaar card number and click on Send OTP. Now enter the OTP received on your Aadhaar registered mobile number and click on the login button.
(4) Next screen click on Update Demographics Data
(5) Now select “Date of Birth” option and proceed.
(6) Next screen enter your correct Date of Birth and upload a scanned copy of a valid DOB document containing your name and Date of birth & click on preview.
(7) After uploading your document, next screen you can see the preview of the uploaded document. Enter captcha code and click on send OTP. Enter the OTP received on your mobile number and click on make payment.
You need to pay Rs.50 charges to update your Date of birth online. You can pay this amount using net banking, Debit card, and UPI.
After successful payment, your request will be submitted to UIDAI and you will get a URN number to track your request status.

- You can update/change your Date of Birth only once in a lifetime.
- INR 50 charges applicable to update your data online
- You can track your request through URN number by visiting the UIDAI website
- After successful updating of your Date of birth, you can download your Aadhaar card online or order PVC plastic Aadhaar card.
