Check PAN Card Registered With PNB Account or Not

How to know my PAN card registered with my Punjab National Bank account? The answer is, you can check online through net banking whether your PAN card linked with PNB saving account or not.

PAN Card is a unique, 10-character alpha-numeric identifier, issued to all judicial entities identifiable under the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961. It is issued by the Indian Income Tax Department under the supervision of the Central Board for Direct Taxes (CBDT) and it also serves as an important proof of identification.

It is important for you to have your correct PAN number updated with your PNB account so the bank can ensure that your TDS are processed correctly.

For higher transactions (Cash withdrawal and online transfer) and to avoid TDS, it is mandatory for all customers to link pan card with Bank account.

First, log in to PNB Net Banking – https://netbanking.netpnb.com

After login, click on Other Services – PAN Registration

Next screen, select your Customer ID and continue.

And the next screen you can see “PAN number already registered” and your PAN card number mentioned below. That means your PAN card is linked with your bank account.

If your Pan number is not registered then follow the next process and register online without visiting the home branch. If you don’t have PNB net banking facility then you can visit your branch and submit your Pan copy.
