If your PNB (Punjab National Bank) Debit card is not enabled for online transactions (E-commerce) then you can not use your Debit card for online transactions and payments. As per new RBI guidelines, if you have never used your PNB Debit card then it will be temporarily disabled for online payments and you need to activate it again.
Punjab National Bank customers can now enable/disable Debit card online transactions through Mobile Banking and net banking.
If your PNB Debit card is also deactivated for online payments then follow these two methods and enable online payments for your PNB Debit card.
1. Activate Online Payments for PNB Debit Card through Mobile Banking
Open PNB One Mobile Banking and login. After login, tap, and open the “Debit Card” section.
Next screen, click on “Enable/Disable Debit Card”
Now select your account number and Debit card, enter card expiry month & year and ATM PIN and proceed next.
And the next screen, turn ON “ECom Transactions” for your Debit card.
That’s it your PNB Debit card is now activated for online transactions. You can now use your Debit card for online payments.
2. Activate PNB Debit Card Online Transactions through net banking
You can also enable/disable online transactions for your PNB Debit card by login to internet banking.
Open PNB Internet Banking and login into your account.
After login, Click on Value Added Services – Card Related Services – Debit Card Enable/Disable.
And the next screen, enter your Debit card number, expiry month & year, and ATM PIN and click on submit.
And the next screen, you can see the “ECommerce” option, select Deomstc, and click on continue. That’s it you have successfully enabled your Debit card for online usage.
